I had to swap out a grinder part and, i wasn’t sure if it was going to turn into a whole thing. But the return label came through quickly, and the exchange got sorted without any real hassle. I guess I was worrying for nothing. Happy with how it went...

I figured the warranty would make things simple, but it ended up being kind of a hassle. The claim took a long time to go through, and I didn’t really feel like anyone was helping much. Maybe warranties are just always like that, but still, if they offer one, it should be easier. Disappointing overall.

I found exactly what I was looking for, but there were so many coffee gear options that I ended up grabbing a few extras too. Not really a bad problem to have, but did anyone else have the same issue of adding way more to their cart than planned?

I really wanted to have a good experience with them, but dealing with support left me feeling mentally drained. My order turned out fine in the end, but getting any kind of update was such a hassle. I had to follow up more than once just to get a basic response, and the slow replies made the whole thing way more frustrating than it needed to be.

Overall, it was a good value. The prices were fair, which made it easier to overlook the fact that shipping took a little longer than I expected. Not perfect, but for what I paid, I can’t really complain too much

"Good machine, just needed some dialing in"
I picked up an espresso machine from Seattle Coffee Gear a few months back, and overall it’s been a good buy. The machine feels solid and definitely nicer than the old one I was using before.
It wasn’t perfect right away, though. I had to mess with the grind and adjust this and that before the shots started coming out how I wanted. Once I got it set up, it’s been consistent day to day.
I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because the setup info could’ve been a little clearer. Nothing major, just would’ve made that first part easier. Still happy with it and I’d buy from them again.

I tried placing an order and, I don’t know, the payment page just kept acting a little weird. It made me enter my info again twice, which was annoying. The order did finally go through, but for a bit I wasn’t sure if I’d been charged or not. Not exactly the smoothest checkout experience

I ordered a few filters and a replacement part, and yeah, everything showed up just like I picked it. Nothing was missing, no random substitutions or anything like that, which I definitely appreciated.
The shipping box was a bit banged up when it got here, but all the stuff inside was fine. It arrived around when they said it would too, so overall, good experience and I’d order from them again.

I stopped by the Seattle Coffee Gear store because I’d been thinking about getting an espresso machine, but I was still unsure about what I actually needed versus what just looked nice online. The staff was really easygoing and patient, which I appreciated a lot, because I had a bunch of random questions and probably bounced around between topics more than once. Nobody made me feel like I should already know everything, and they explained things in a way that felt normal and conversational.
They let me compare a couple different machines in person, which made a bigger difference than I expected, and they also walked me through the grinder side of things since I didn’t realize how much that mattered. By the time I was done, I felt way more confident about what would work for me at home. I ended up buying from the store instead of ordering online, mostly because the whole visit was just simple, helpful, and low-pressure...

There was one small detail that felt a bit unclear, but it wasn’t a huge issue. I’ll admit, after I paid I started second-guessing whether everything would be exactly as described, so I was a little uneasy until it arrived. I ordered this grinder from Seattle Coffee Gear, and it arrived in good shape with no real issues. I do remember checking the tracking more than once because shipping felt a little slower than I expected, but it wasn’t anything terrible.
Once I started using it for espresso, there was definitely a learning curve. My first few shots were kind of frustrating, and I can still picture standing there in the kitchen wondering if I was doing something wrong. After a few days of adjusting, though, it started to click.
Now it’s been working really well and gives me consistent results without making a huge mess. I’m happy with it overall, but I’m giving it 4 stars because the setup instructions could be a lot clearer, especially for someone still figuring things out

Then the tracking came through quickly, and somehow the box showed up a couple days earlier than I had in my head. Nice surprise, especially since I was already mentally planning around it arriving later. Everything was packed well, nothing weird or damaged, just a smooth order overall. I’d definitely order from them again.

My espresso grinder wasn’t feeding properly, so I reached out to Seattle Coffee Gear support. They did walk me through a few checks and eventually helped me figure out it just needed a deeper clean and a small adjustment. The advice was clear and it did fix the problem, which I’m grateful for. That said, replies took a while, and at first I kind of felt like my issue was being brushed off instead of taken seriously. Overall, I’m happy it got resolved, but the experience was a little frustrating along the way.
